Adding Our Calendars

You can add one or more of our calendars to the calendar on your phone so you always have access to the events.

To access our calendars, you need a Google email account; these calendars are shared as Google Group Calendars so search for that term if you run into difficulty.

There are 2 ways to add our calendars to your own

Calendars List with URLS

Here are the current list of URLs; hover your mouse over each link, right-click and choose "copy link" then paste that into your own Google Calendar (see below). Sometimes if you just click on the calendar's URL, your browser might offer you the chance to Add the calender to your own.

Classics: classical and chorale performances

Events: general events lasting one day or less

Music: jazz, blues, rock and other musical performances

Spectacles: multi-day spectacles

Festivals: multi-day festivals

Vide Greniers: brocantes and vide-greniers

Repas: (summer only) outdoor meals

Exhibitions: (occasional) long-term displays or exhibitions

Subscribe with more control

There are many articles on the internet describing how to do this but here are our suggestions:

  1. Each calendar has its own unique URL (listed above): hover over one of the links above, right-click and choose "copy link"
  2. In a new Window or Tab, open and sign-in to your Google mail account and open the Google Calendar associated with your email account
  3. Look on the left side-bar for "Other Calendars" and click on the + sign to "Subscribe to calendar"
  4. Choose the "from URL" option
  5. Paste the link from step 1 and save the form

These instructions apply to Google Calendar using the web app (i.e. viewing it in a browser) - not the app on your phone (you cannot add calendars through the your phone's app).

Checking your phone's calendar

It can take some time for the addition to appear on your phone; if in doubt

  • open your phones calendar (the one that shows your Google calendar)
  • choose the menu button (top left)
  • scroll down to see the calendars your account is subscribed to
You can "hide" one or more of your calendars temporarily if there is too much information shown
